Every day, people sleeping rough in Auckland walk as far as 17 kilometres to access essentials like food, a safe place to sleep, medical help and somewhere to wash. That’s not easy.
On Saturday 25 March, a team from the Anglican Parish of Clevedon will be participating in The Big Mission Home, a 17 kilometre sponsored walk to raise funds for Auckland City Mission – Te Tāpui Atawhai. The Big Mission Home is a way to provide vital support for those who need it most, no matter how far they have walked.
The Clevedon Parish team will be walking from Glen Innes to the City Mission. If you want to sponsor one of the walkers, click here: Auckland City Mission - Clevedon Anglicans. Or if you'd like to join our team and walk with us, contact Sarah.
