FLATPACK Nativity is a public family event at All Souls Clevedon (49 North Road) 6.15pm-8.45pm on Sunday 15 December. (Last entry 7.45pm)
Comprised of nine different stations, groups of up to 20 visitors will move in groups across the entire All Souls site. At each station the group will be introduced to a different aspect of the Nativity.
The narrative will begin with an overview of the whole story, reflect on Mary and Joseph’s responses to the news of her pregnancy, take the journey to Bethlehem for the Census, stop by the I.K.E.A (Inn Keeper's Extra Accommodation), and learn about the first visitors to encounter the child: the Shepherds and the Magi. At each station you will collect parts for your own Flatpack Nativity craft, which will be assembled in the hall.
Groups will come onto the site and begin their FLATPACK Nativity every 15 minutes starting at 6.15pm. We anticipate that it will take each group between 45 minutes to 1 hour to make their way through all nine stations. Last entry will be at 7.45pm. Please note no parking is available on site. There will be a drop off zone outside the main entrance to the grounds. If you are able, we recommend parking in the village and walking to the church. We recommend arriving at the gate five minutes prior to your start time.
Entry is by donation to the parish (you choose $5/$10/$15/$20) and either:
an item of non-perishable food for the City Mission or
a child's gift (new, not wrapped) for the Anglican Trust for Women & Children.
