Journey to Christmas: Stations of the Nativity will be a public family event at All Souls Clevedon (49 North Road) 6.30pm-9pm on Sunday 11 December. (Last entry 8.15pm)
Comprised of seven different stations, visitors will move in groups across the entire All Souls site. The narrative will begin with the Archangel Gabriel, reflect on Mary and Joseph’s responses to the news of her pregnancy, take the journey to Bethlehem for the Census, explore the perspective of the Shepherds and the three Magi, and conclude with the Holy Family at the stable. Each station will offer part of the story through a different media: music, art, performance, craft. It will be an opportunity to delve into the Christmas Story in a multi-sensory way. Groups will come onto the site and begin their Journey to Christmas every 15 minutes starting at 6.30pm. We anticipate that it will take each group between 45 minutes to 1 hour to make their way through all seven stations. Last entry will be at 8.15pm.
Please note there will be no parking available on site. There will be a drop off zone outside the main entrance to the grounds. If you are able, we recommend parking in the village and walking to the church.
Entry is by donation to the parish (you choose $5/$10/$15/$20) and an item of non-perishable food for the City Mission.
